Why you might like it

  • Faction identity establishes permanent allies and enemies, while level-bracket battlefields let characters pursue PvP before maximum level. Healers, defenders, assassins and ranged damage all contribute readable battlefield roles.
  • Difficulty modes change statistics, skill points and historically even death consequences, giving alternate characters different risk profiles. Dungeons, bosses and guilds provide cooperative preparation for the faction war.
  • Fawkes has preserved the service after gamigo's 2023 handoff and is modernizing the client, progression and raid systems. Fresh seasonal formats can provide a less entrenched starting point than the oldest permanent economy.
Before you play

Things to consider

  • Original Ultimate Mode could permanently delete an unprotected character on death, though exact current protections and seasonal rules can change. Confirm the selected mode rather than relying on memories from an older episode.
  • Lapises, enchantment, linking and premium protection create significant equipment power gaps. PvP competition magnifies the effect of veteran gear and spending, making a supportive guild important for realistic progression.
  • Gamigo no longer operates the live service, and old migration codes were needed to move historical accounts to Fawkes. Use the current Fawkes Hub and do not expect obsolete Aeria credentials or currency to work.
