Why you might like it
- A wuxia martial-arts MMORPG based on the celebrated works of Chinese novelist Jin Yong, one of the most influential wuxia authors of the 20th century — a genuinely prestigious literary pedigree for an MMORPG adaptation.
- Notable for its ambitious attempt to bring Jin Yong's specific brand of morally complex martial-arts storytelling and swordplay into MMORPG form, distinct from more generic wuxia settings.
- Worth knowing about for fans of Jin Yong's novels researching video game adaptations of his work, or for anyone tracking the broader landscape of Western-published Chinese MMORPGs that didn't achieve lasting commercial success.
Things to consider
- This specific Western release was cancelled and is not available to play — publishers have periodically attempted Western localizations of Jin Yong-based wuxia MMORPGs with mixed and often short-lived results.
- If you're interested in Jin Yong-based games specifically, research current regional (particularly Chinese-market) titles directly, since Western availability for this literary adaptation niche has historically been unreliable.
- No notable revival or private server exists for this specific cancelled Western release.
