Imperator was a never-released, alternate-history sci-fi MMORPG announced by Mythic Entertainment in 2002 as its follow-up to Dark Age of Camelot, imagining an Earth where the Roman Empire survived into a futuristic space age. Originally slated for a June 2006 release, Mythic postponed and ultimately cancelled the project in July 2005 after an internal review, reassigning staff to Dark Age of Camelot and the newly announced Warhammer Online.
