Browser sandbox MMORPG

Golemizer

Golemizer was a free-to-play 2D browser MMO from Machine 22 set in a steampunk world, where players took on the role of scientists gathering resources and crafting almost everything in the game, including golem pets, homes and entire cities. Progression was classless, with skill points accruing even while offline, and much of the content (quests, dungeons) was player-generated. The game has since been shut down.

Before you play

Things to consider

  • The game has been shut down and is no longer available to play.
  • With no PvP, players focused entirely on crafting and PvE, which may not appeal to combat-focused MMO fans.
  • Its 2D browser presentation and steampunk niche kept its audience relatively small.
