Erebus 2 (also cataloged separately under its prior name, Erebus: Travia Reborn) was a free-to-play, 3D hack-and-slash action MMORPG developed and published by Korean studio Zemi Interactive, the creators of the popular 4Story. Set in the fantasy world of Travia, players chose from four classes (Warrior, Archer, Mage, Cleric) to battle the once-sealed god of chaos, grinding through an open persistent world with world PvP, party quests, and guild house wars in a style reminiscent of Diablo. The game had an unusually tangled naming history: originally launched as Travia, it was rebranded Erebus: Travia Reborn when distributed through Outspark's MMORPG portal, then relaunched again as Erebus 2 (originally Travia 2) with closed beta starting in 2010 and open beta finally arriving September 17, 2014, after the project was reportedly abandoned twice along the way. Despite the successful 2014 relaunch, Zemi Interactive permanently shut the game down on November 30, 2015.
