  • Apocalypse launched into early access in 2020 but was quickly review-bombed by MMORPG fans upset that Intrepid Studios' resources were being split from the main game, and it was functionally dead within months.
  • The studio had promised Apocalypse would return once further Ashes of Creation MMORPG testing milestones were reached — but as of 2026, the main game itself has collapsed (see this catalog's separate Ashes of Creation profile), making any Apocalypse revival extremely unlikely for the foreseeable future.
  • Any progress or rewards earned in Apocalypse were promised to transfer to the main game, but with Intrepid Studios' operations halted, that promise's status is unclear.
